Job Title: Physical Therapist

Froedtert South is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician's prescriptions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans in coordination with physicians' prescriptions
  • Implement activities designed to treat patients with physical disabilities, disorders, and injuries
  • Perform patient/family teaching of home exercise programs
  • Communicate with physical therapist assistants/Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs) in patient treatment planning
  • Administer medications in a timely manner, safely, and in accordance with policy and procedure
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or the ability to obtain certification within 6 weeks of hire
  • Valid licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Wisconsin
