Role Responsibilities

The FP&A Manager will be tasked with analyzing and reporting on financial and operational performance data on a regular basis, including overseeing all month-end processes. This role is crucial in driving strategic decision-making and planning for annual budgets, while also aiding in the development of essential profitability metrics, such as segment, customer, and project success.

Work Arrangement

HYBRID/REMOTE: Tyndale promotes a healthy work-life balance. The FP&A Manager will be expected to work on-site three days a week and remotely for two days. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance for on-site responsibilities.

Key Duties Include:
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of business systems, including system tables, BI, and various data warehouses.
  • Gaining in-depth knowledge of financial, operational, and sales processes.
  • Creating and implementing tools and processes to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Defining critical metrics as required by the business, such as profitability by segment and customer.
  • Leading and coordinating training efforts to enhance business processes and refine annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Analyzing financial and operational data to support financial, capital, and workforce planning.
  • Preparing regular financial reports for company-wide distribution and ad-hoc reports for operational decision-making.
  • Generating and distributing Performance Dashboard Metrics reports.
  • Assisting in the execution of all month-end processes.
  • Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in data entry for accounting transactions and related documentation.
  • Supporting the team in reporting operational information in accordance with established accounting methodologies.

  • At least 3 years of experience in analytical roles.
  • 2+ years of management experience is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
