Job Overview

William Ryan Homes, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Superintendent to join our Production team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting the Superintendent in the safe and timely delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist in maintaining high standards of quality throughout the building process, including safety and cleanliness.
  • Schedule Management: Support in the maintenance of schedules with diligent project and time management.
  • Site Meetings: Participate in site meetings and required safety meetings.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality throughout the warranty service process, including craftsmanship, subcontractor supervision, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Customer Service: Committed to providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Construction Knowledge: Understands all stages of the construction process, including both rough and trim.
  • Code Compliance: Knowledge of local, state, and federal building and construction codes, OSHA, and EPA guidelines.
  • Technical Skills: Punchout skills, hands-on repair skills, including paint, drywall, carpentry, etc.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanically sound with experience using tools and construction materials.
  • Warranty Program: Thorough understanding of our warranty program and all vendor warranty programs.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and comprehend detailed construction blueprints, specifications, and detailed development drawings.
  • Problem-Solving: Detail-oriented and organized with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Technology Skills: Basic technology skills, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook; knowledge of residential production scheduling system preferred.
Education and Experience
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: General Labor and/or Residential Construction Experience required.
Additional Requirements
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license with insurance coverage.
  • Cell Phone: Cell phone with data package.
