As a key member of our rehabilitation team, the Charge Nurse plays a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care and supervising our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) staff. Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Charge Nurse will provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices and regulations. This includes supervising the CNA staff in the delivery of direct resident care, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and attention. Additionally, the Charge Nurse will be responsible for maintaining regular attendance, working cooperatively with other employees, and meeting all local health regulations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate positively to residents and families.
