Job Opportunity

Interim HealthCare of New Hampshire is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Home Health PTA, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their strength, manage their pain, and reach their goals in a home setting where therapy is tailored to their daily lives.

As a member of our rehabilitation team, you will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized plans of care. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant impact on the lives of our patients, and we are committed to providing the support and resources you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide home-based physical therapy to patients with mobility, strength, and functionality challenges
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct assessments, document progress, and modify care plans as needed
  • Assist patients with exercises and hands-on therapy to manage pain and increase mobility
  • Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, and self-care

Requirements:

  • Active PTA license in Maine
  • Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience, ideally in home healthcare
  • CPR certification
  • Up-to-date on all State of Maine Required vaccinations
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
  • Good clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, dexterity, and compassion
