Logistics Coordinator

Maverick Logistics Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Dispatcher. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the movement of our fleet of vehicles or delivery personnel.

• Receive and process incoming requests for dispatch services.
• Coordinate and assign vehicles or delivery personnel to appropriate routes and destinations.
• Monitor and track the progress of vehicles or delivery personnel using GPS and other tracking systems.
• Maintain constant communication with drivers or delivery personnel to provide necessary instructions and updates.
• Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during the delivery process, such as accidents or delays.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including delivery schedules, routes, and customer information.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Keep updated on traffic conditions, road closures, and other factors that may affect delivery schedules.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
