Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our team at Bettner Vision in Colorado Springs, CO. As a Vision Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive optometric care to patients of all ages, leveraging advanced technology and collaborating with our experienced team to deliver personalized vision solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive optometric care to patients, including routine eye exams, specialty lens fitting, and evaluation
- Collaborate with our Optometric Technician to ensure optimal vision health for patients
- Utilize advanced technology, including Topcon Maestro-2 OCT, Zeiss Humphrey Visual Field, and Optos Monaco, to diagnose and treat various eye conditions
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in optometry, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Licensed in Colorado
- Open to new graduates
- Experience with specialty lens fitting and evaluation, such as scleral, hybrids, RGP, and ortho-k, is preferred
