Job Title: Critical Care Registered Nurse

Centura St. Catherine Hospital - Dodge City - CA is seeking a skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs, developing and implementing patient care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records and clinical data.
  • Evaluate patients' responses and intervene to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Deliver care with respect for cultural differences and diversity.
  • Delegate tasks to non-RN personnel in accordance with state board and hospital policy.
  • Utilize time, personnel, equipment, and supplies efficiently for high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
  • Serve as a professional role model, demonstrating ethical, legal, and professional nursing processes.
  • Maintain professional records that indicate competency and lifelong learning.
  • Evaluate personal integrity and practice according to professional standards and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • State RN license or RN license from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) is required.
  • Minimum one year of experience preferred.
  • Skills in critical care and patient care.
  • Proficiency in EPIC or similar healthcare software.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
