Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide exceptional anesthetic care across a variety of surgical procedures. This role is integral to our healthcare team, working collaboratively with supervising physicians to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
The CRNA will be responsible for the following:
- Administering anesthesia to patients, ensuring they remain pain-free during surgical interventions.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and reactions to anesthetic agents, promptly reporting any concerns to the surgical team.
- Conducting thorough pre-anesthetic evaluations and selecting appropriate anesthetic techniques and agents.
- Performing essential procedures such as intravenous catheter insertion and endotracheal intubation.
- Managing anesthesia during the induction, maintenance, and emergence phases of surgery.
- Documenting all patient interactions and anesthesia administration accurately in the medical records.
- Participating in the training and evaluation of new CRNAs and students in the clinical setting.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A current Registered Nurse license in the state of West Virginia.
- Certification from the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
Physical and Working Environment:
