Comprehensive Ophthalmologist Opportunity in Coastal Maine

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our team at Coastal Eye Care in Ellsworth, Maine. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and success of our practice.
About the Opportunity- Join a well-established 29-year practice with a strong referral network of community optometrists and primary care physicians.
- Enjoy a great work-life balance with Friday afternoons off.
- Immediately available volume of 10 cataracts per week in the first year, with significant growth expected in subsequent years and beyond.
- Surgical volume available includes cataract surgeries, YAG, LPI, and SLT procedures, with opportunities to develop full glaucoma or cornea service.
- Clinic with 10 exam rooms; equipment includes iTrace, Zeiss OCT, Argos biometer, LAL IOL Light Delivery Device, and ORA Wavetec.
- Highly efficient ASC in the same building as the clinic.
- No hospital or ER call.

Eligible candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible and hold an active Maine medical license (or willing to obtain upon employment offer).
