About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a positive patient experience.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to achieve the highest level of patient satisfaction and promote safety throughout the continuum of care.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
  • Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care.
  • Reinforce patient and family education, family needs, and discharge planning throughout hospitalization.
  • Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policy and procedure.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and plan of care based upon patient response to interventions.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in Pennsylvania.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
