Job Summary

The Home Care Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality home care services to clients. This role involves supervising a team of home care aides, ensuring compliance with program requirements, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train home care aides to ensure they meet client care plans and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate with clients, home care aides, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct regular supervisory home visits to assess service quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of home care aides.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of client service delivery, including service calendars and other relevant documents.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Aging standards and other relevant regulations.
  • Evaluate home care aides' performance and provide feedback to improve service quality.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with some college or case management experience.
  • Supervisory skills, problem-solving ability, and strong writing and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, reaching, and stooping. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range.
