Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at the State of Florida. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to pre and post-natal women, as well as offer case management for infants and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to pre and post-natal women, including case management for infants and their families.
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals in providing comprehensive care to patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients.
  • Collaborate with community resources to provide support and services to patients.
  • Conduct home visits to provide individualized education and developmental screenings.
Requirements
  • Clear and active Florida Registered Nurse License.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of community resources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a County Health Department.
  • Experience working with pregnant women and their families.
  • Experience working with children from birth to 3 years old and their families.
  • Experience working in a position that requires client home visits.
