Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Medical Imaging Professional, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI Equipment: Utilize magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Conduct Patient Interviews: Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address any concerns they may have.
  • Ensure Patient Safety: Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols, requesting removal of hazardous metal objects, and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Train and Orient New Hires: Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees on the proper use of MRI equipment and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a MRI Technologist, with a strong background in diagnostic imaging and patient care.
  • Licensure: Current licensure in the required state.
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of MRI procedures and protocols, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
