Essential Qualifications:

Prior experience in the security field is mandatory. A valid State of Ohio Guard License is required.

Logistics Security Specialist Overview:

The Logistics Security Specialist will be tasked with overseeing truck access points and/or a control center, conducting regular patrols of the facility's exterior, and monitoring alarm systems. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as weekend and holiday shifts may be required. Please note that schedules are subject to change.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Logistics Security Specialist, you will receive training and develop expertise in the following areas:
  • Access control systems
  • Logistics Tracking Software
  • CCTV and Video Management Systems
  • Proficient Computer Skills
  • Conducting Physical Security Inspections
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Vehicle and Personnel Inspections
  • Metal Detector and Baggage Inspection Systems
  • Security Alarm Monitoring
  • Report Writing Proficiency
  • Experience in Large/Busy Distribution Centers is advantageous

Logistics Security Specialist Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid State Issued Driver's License or ID.
  • Must hold a State of Ohio Guard License or have the ability to obtain one.
  • Must provide documentation to complete the new hire I-9 form.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility in scheduling.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process and consistently meet any applicable state, county, and municipal requirements for Security Officers.
