Overview

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) seeks a BC/BE Family Medicine physician to join its new Primary Care practice in Bennington, Vermont. This unique opportunity includes dedicated time to work alongside and develop newly trained primary care advanced practice providers. The position offers a dedicated team, reasonable call schedule, and a focus on provider and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing acute and preventative care, chronic disease management, and mentoring advanced practice providers. They will also seek to build strong relationships and provide continuous care to patients and their families. The position includes a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a sign-on bonus, relocation stipend, and assistance with student loans.

Requirements

The qualifications include Board Certification/Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, a medical license in Vermont, and Federal DEA certification in Vermont.
