Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist - Neurological Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Christus Health. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with neurological disorders.

About the Role:

This Speech Therapist position will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech and language disorders, including those related to neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, and dementia. You will develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their communication goals.

Requirements:

  • M.S. or M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology, Communicative Disorders, or equivalent certified program required.
  • Current ASHA and New Mexico Speech & Language Pathology or current Clinical Fellowship Licensure required.
  • BLS issued through American Heart Association certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years post CFY experience preferred or current Clinical Fellowship License.
  • At least one year of previous clinical experience with neurologically impaired adults and dysphagia, including radiologic assessment preferred.
