About the Role

UNC Health is seeking a skilled Audiologist to join our team at UNC Ear, Nose & Throat at Nash. As a key member of our audiology department, you will be responsible for administering comprehensive audiological tests, including hearing aid testing and evaluation, electrophysiological testing, and balance testing.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough audiologic evaluations and balance assessments to diagnose hearing and balance disorders.
  • Provide amplification services, including hearing aid assessment, testing, and real ear measurements.
  • Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient outcomes and recommend rehabilitative options.
  • Coordinate care with physicians and other providers to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed chart notes for each patient, including written reports to referring physicians and primary care physicians.
Requirements
  • Au.D. or Master's degree in Audiology with continuous active certification.
  • NC State Audiology License and BCLS certification.
  • Master's level candidates must also hold a license/certificate from the NC Hearing Aid Dealer's and Fitters Board.
  • Audiologist experience preferred.
