Job Title: Piping Planner

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Piping Planner to join our team at our office in Lawrence, PA. As a Piping Planner, you will be responsible for preparing necessary design and coordination drawings consistent with project plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide necessary design and coordination drawings, including shop drawings, detail drawings, sleeve penetration drawings, coordination drawings, prefabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
  • Read and understand contract drawings, schedules, and specifications.
  • Prepare design/drafting on AutoCAD MEP 2022, Revit 2022, and Navisworks 2022.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and associated personnel to resolve contract changes, equipment buyouts, RFIs, change orders, and other project-related issues.

Additional Duties:

  • Actively participate in coordination meetings with various trades as a representative of the company.
  • Collaborate with the Prefabrication Department to ensure accurate fabrication of work going to the field.
  • Navigate folder structures to locate and retrieve required information in job folders.
  • Understand file naming conventions to accurately send or receive and place files in appropriate locations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the plumbing and/or HVAC piping industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting design and coordination drawings in the plumbing and/or HVAC industry on AutoCAD MEP, Revit, and Navisworks.
