Medical Office Specialist

About the Job:
You will perform administrative tasks using specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital procedures. This includes greeting and registering patients, checking schedules, organizing patient flow, and assisting with various procedures. You will also be responsible for relaying instructions to patients, answering calls, and verifying insurance coverage.
Required Skills:
To succeed in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a completed Medical Office Assistant/Specialist program preferred. A minimum of one year of medical experience is also beneficial. Key skills include attention to detail, reliability, and strong communication skills.
