Intern Responsibilities

Interns will play a crucial role in executing projects and managing daily operations for one of SCB's brokerage desks. This blend of project work and daily tasks allows interns to explore industry segments thoroughly while participating in the business's daily functions.

Typical projects may include:

  • Compiling and distributing daily market reports to clients
  • Conducting research on emerging markets
  • Developing and implementing new systems to enhance digital information management
  • Assisting in the preparation of presentations and marketing materials
  • Analyzing market trends
  • Undertaking special projects as assigned

Interns must complete a regulatory exam after three months. Successfully meeting this requirement, along with other prerequisites, will provide a pathway to becoming a junior broker on one of our desks.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for graduate students with a background in environmental markets or the energy sector. Current undergraduates pursuing degrees in environmental studies or finance are also encouraged to apply.
