Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Real Estate Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Property Manager to ensure effective and compliant management of site operations across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Regularly maintaining the condition of grounds, parking areas, building exteriors, amenities, offices, and other community facilities at all assigned properties.
  • Conducting equipment checks to ensure safe operational conditions and performing minor and routine maintenance as necessary.
  • Assisting in project completion, which includes planning, procuring supplies, construction, cleaning, and waste removal from project sites.
  • Identifying and reporting maintenance and aesthetic issues for upkeep and repairs in exteriors, grounds, and common areas at assigned properties.
  • Supporting property management personnel with work order requests from the management team.
  • Operating light machinery, dump trucks, and a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems, as well as constructing items related to wood or metal fabrication, while notifying supervisors of any situations beyond technical capabilities.
  • Adhering to the Property Management Preventive Maintenance Programs for all equipment, vehicles, and other systems.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical operating procedures and processes.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
