Job Summary:
My Community Dental Centers is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Services Representative to join our team. As a valued member of our organization, this role plays a critical part in creating a positive patient experience and fostering a patient-centric culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors professionally, both in-person and over the phone.
- Coordinate effective scheduling and confirmation of appointments, ensuring seamless communication with patients and providers.
- Assist in the coordination of incoming and outgoing patient referrals, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Verify patient insurance and eligibility, collect payments as required, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Notify providers of patient arrivals and present pertinent patient information, promoting efficient care delivery.
- Assist patients with the check-in and check-out process, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Confirm all future appointments and assist in scheduling follow-up treatment, maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction.
- Maintain compliance with My Community Dental Centers policies, as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Dental or customer service experience preferred.
