About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team at The GIANT Company. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees, customers, and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize office spaces, restrooms, break rooms, and lunch areas
  • Remove trash and recyclables, and operate compactor and bailer
  • Use power washer to clean sidewalks and other exterior areas
  • Dust and wash surfaces, mirrors, and glass
  • Resupply items as needed and use floor cones to designate potentially hazardous floor conditions
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
  • Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as physical base scores for this position
  • Must be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools used to perform this job
  • Must complete company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days
  • Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this job and safety regulations
Working Conditions

This role requires standing for 55% of the shift, with occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds. The shift hours may vary, with a minimum of 4 hours per shift.
