Food Safety Quality Assurance Intern

At Martin's Famous Pastry Shoppe, we're committed to delivering high-quality products while ensuring the safety of our customers. As a Food Safety Quality Assurance Intern, you'll play a crucial role in our quality programs, developing an understanding of our quality assurance and food safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the integration of quality assurance and food safety programs
  • Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality programs
  • Conduct quality assurance testing, including moisture, pH, and texture analysis
  • Research and analyze trend data, including customer complaints
  • Assist in organizing and developing training for food safety and quality programs
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Currently attending an accredited institution, majoring in Food Science, Chemistry, or Microbiology
  • Strong proficiency in technical writing
  • Ability to adhere to and enforce safety, food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices regulations
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include regular walking, frequent use of hands to handle or feel objects, and occasional standing, sitting, reaching, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
