Job Title: Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Travel IR RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Interventional Radiology environment.

Job Summary:

As a Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, analyzing lab results and medical history, providing education to patients and family members, and overseeing the safety and comfort of patients. You will also be responsible for administering drugs, including conscious sedation drugs, and monitoring patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including checking vital signs
  • Analyze lab results and medical history
  • Provide education to patients and family members
  • Insert and remove IV lines
  • Administer drugs, including conscious sedation drugs
  • Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures
  • Oversee the safety and comfort of patients
  • Provide post-procedure monitoring
Requirements:
  • Motivated candidates who are looking for career growth
  • AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
  • BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families
Work Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or a related field.
