POSITION SUMMARY
The Core Assembly Technician plays a crucial role in the fabrication of cores utilized in thermal and heat exchange solutions. This position necessitates proficiency in interpreting technical schematics.

Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience, starting at $20 per hour.
Additional shift differentials: $2.00 for 2nd shift and $2.50 for 3rd shift.
Comprehensive Health Insurance, including Dental and Vision coverage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute core assembly tasks following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Interpret and adhere to blueprints, worksheets, or other directives to assemble various components for heat exchanger cores.
- Secure completed cores with appropriate banding.
- Maintain awareness of oven brazing procedures.
- Monitor and report inventory levels.
- Conduct inspections and document quality standards of finished products.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace at all times.
- Understand and comply with Boyd's policies and procedures.
- Identify and report potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Utilize hand tools for assembly and maintenance tasks.
- Perform data entry and maintain records both digitally and manually.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proficient in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Ability to identify problems, gather data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Regular use of hands for handling tools and materials, with the ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Capable of lifting and/or moving weights up to 15 pounds regularly, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
