About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable School Bus Driver to join our team in Salina, KS. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students to and from school, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
- Report any incidents or accidents to management promptly
- Assist passengers in evacuation of the vehicle in case of an emergency
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old (25 for Tennessee School Bus Drivers)
- Possess a valid state license and other required certifications to operate company vehicles
- Meet physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening
- Satisfactorily complete and pass all training
