Role Overview: Northland is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to address maintenance service requests and work orders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, HVAC systems, electrical repairs, pool upkeep, plumbing tasks, carpentry, painting, and general housekeeping duties. This position also involves preparing apartments for new residents in a timely manner while ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.
The maintenance team at Northland upholds the highest standards of professionalism and customer service when interacting with residents, vendors, and guests. As part of our commitment to providing an exceptional experience for our residents, team members are required to manage after-hours emergency calls and be available on-call, including nights and weekends.
Qualifications and Skills: Candidates must demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation:
Proven experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, and painting. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, residents, and vendors.
