About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncology Nurse Navigator to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our cancer care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care and support throughout their cancer journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement strategies to ensure quality, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness for oncology patients in multiple settings.
  • Assess patient needs and provide education and resources to facilitate informed decision-making and timely access to quality health and psychosocial care.
  • Communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and report outcome metrics to drive program development and improve patient outcomes.
  • Advocate on behalf of patients and empower them to self-advocate.
Requirements
  • Current Illinois RN license
  • CPR certification
  • OCN Certification or Nurse Navigator Certification obtained within 2 years of hire
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical specialty (Oncology)
