About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audio Artist to join our team at Electronic Arts. As an Audio Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality audio experiences for our video games.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create authentic commentary to support in-game experiences
  • Own well-defined audio-related tasks and deliverables
  • Design, develop, and support feature(s), small project(s), or task(s) within the Speech discipline
  • Technical implementation, logic, and databasing tasks to support the user experience
  • Editor package imports, sample handling, and database management
  • Quality control and assessment of all commentary
  • Speech editing, naming, cataloging, and file organization
  • Experience with tracking documentation
  • Participate in team collaboration and work independently
Requirements
  • Deep experience in recording, editing, and processing audio with DAWs
  • Proficiency with modern audio creation equipment, software, and recording techniques
  • Knowledge of development management tools (Jira, Perforce, Confluence)
  • Deep experience in audio implementation with interactive tools
  • Good understanding of commentary audio quality in a video game
  • Excel expert with proficiency in macros
  • Self-motivated individual with a solution-oriented work ethic
  • Team-oriented with a strong desire to both learn and teach
  • Strong artistic and creative sensibilities
Bonus Skills
  • Experience with Quality Assurance Verification
  • Experience with onboarding new team members
  • Knowledge and familiarity with American Football
  • Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, etc.
