Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate Team Sports to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate Team Sports, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers through your eagerness to help, in-depth product knowledge, high brand and execution standards, and ability to prioritize.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet every customer and proactively approach them to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
- Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
- Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
- Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of all Company information.
- Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customer) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
- Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
Requirements
- Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

DICK'S Sporting Goods complies with all state paid leave requirements. We also offer a generous suite of benefits, including a targeted pay range of $16 - $23 per hour, depending on location, experience, and position offered.
