Nurse Supervisor

At El Proyecto Del Barrio Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Responsibilities:- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and other clinical staff.
- Assist in the examination and treatment of patients, performing routine tests for evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Administer prescribed medication and treatment, draw blood, give injections, and perform other clinical duties as needed.
- Observe signs and symptoms, report to the physician, and educate patients, families, and staff on preventive care and family planning.
- Supervise the day-to-day work of aides and volunteers, assist in their training, and participate in QA/QI meetings.
- Prepare records and reports for audit purposes and clinic productivity.
- Principles, techniques, and procedures of nursing, including prevention and control of infectious disease.
- Able to work and communicate effectively with clinical teams, follow oral and written directions, and possess mature judgment, tact, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Must possess a valid California driver's license, a dependable automobile with insurance, and pass a drug test, criminal background clearance, and fitness for duty as a pre-condition for employment.
- Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and provide proof of vaccinations for COVID-19, MMR, TDAP, and Hepatitis B, as well as a recent TB test.
- Possession of a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California, under the scope of work of the California Board of Registered Nursing.
