Salary Information

The salary for this position will be determined based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the district and the Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA). The salary range for this role is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This Cleaner Assistant position plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school facilities. As a member of our custodial team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of students, staff, and visitors by providing a clean and hygienic environment.

  • Clean and maintain classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other areas of the school, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces;
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet extractors;
  • Restock supplies and paper products as needed;
  • Perform routine building maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and unclogging drains;
  • Assist with special events and projects as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • Previous experience in cleaning and maintenance, preferably in a school setting;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

About the Role
