Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team at Belle Tire. As an Automotive Glass Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and replacing windshields and other glass components in a variety of vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles for damage prior to performing any work
- Inspect new glass for imperfections before installation
- Use proper techniques to remove damaged glass without causing additional damage
- Install new glass to meet Belle Tire's high standards
- Handle glass safely and efficiently
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Continuously improve processes and share ideas for growth
Minimum Qualifications:
- 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License
- Prior experience in auto glass repair/replacement (5 years preferred)
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to read and write English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Automotive background
Working Conditions:
Varying work hours, Monday-Saturday, with some overtime required. Workshop environment with heavy physical demands, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and repetitive motion.
