- Partner with patients and families to develop individualized care plans, incorporating patient-centered care principles and recognizing the impact of nursing care on patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, including participating in rounds and utilizing patient and family input in planning care.
- Develop and implement teaching strategies to educate patients and families, documenting education and learning in the health record.

- Associates or Diploma in Nursing Required.
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience.
- Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required within 60 days of hire.
- American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation Basic Life Support (BLS) Required upon hire.
