Per Diem Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Nurse to join our team at North Mississippi Health Services. As a Per Diem Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency care to patients in a prompt, resourceful, and efficient manner.
- Assess, intervene, organize, direct, and evaluate patient conditions.
- Transport patients safely and appropriately, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Maintain effective communication with team members, patients, and families.
- Project a caring, friendly, and servant image of NMHS to employees, other hospital/pre-hospital workers, and the community.
- Valid Paramedic National Registry Certification.
- Ability to obtain a Mississippi Paramedic License within two weeks of hire.
- Completion of Paramedic orientation checklist.
- Maintenance of unit-specific annual educational requirements.
- Effective communication and teaching skills.
- Valid driver's license/STATE EMS driver's license.
- General knowledge of regulatory and accrediting standards.
- Maintenance of required certifications as set forth by the department.
