Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant to join our team. As a healthcare provider that treats non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care and a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities- Take and record vital signs, medical history, and patient symptoms
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and treatments
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Collect lab specimens and perform basic lab tests
- Verify and update patient information in electronic medical records
- Prepare and clean exam rooms before and after patient visits
- Educate patients on medications, treatments, and self-care procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Proficient computer skills, experience with electronic medical records preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work weekends and/or holidays when needed
