Job Title: Paraprofessional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team at Lincoln Park Public Schools. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal growth of our students.

Job Summary:

The Paraprofessional will work under the direction of the Principal and Teacher to provide support to students with special needs. This includes assisting with lunch, snacks, toileting, and other school activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and have experience working with students with ASD.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with daily tasks and activities
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to meet the needs of students
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students
  • Assist with classroom management and organization
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Must meet physical requirements
  • Must meet general qualifications of a paraprofessional
  • Must have experience working with special education students
  • Must be able to work effectively as part of a team
