The compensation for this on-call role varies, with rates from $52.00/hour on weekdays to $63.00/hour on weekends. Factors such as the nature of the role, the candidate's qualifications, and market trends may affect the offered salary.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Performing patient assessments and setting suitable objectives and treatment strategies.
  • Administering patient therapies that meet individual needs and comply with Eskaton Rehab Services clinical standards.
  • Maintaining precise documentation in line with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Engaging in professional growth for oneself and colleagues.
  • Effectively communicating with healthcare professionals and team members.
  • Continuing professional development through ongoing education and training.

Requirements:

Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is essential. A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. A current state Physical Therapist license and CPR certification are required.

Experience: Two to three years of experience in a skilled nursing rehabilitation environment or equivalent is desirable. Prior rehabilitation experience is necessary.

Knowledge: Candidates must have a solid understanding of physical therapy evaluations and treatments, knowledge of physical modalities, and familiarity with medical terminology. Strong verbal and written communication abilities are crucial.

The chosen candidate must successfully complete Eskaton's pre-employment assessments, which include background checks, drug screenings, and health evaluations.
