Perioperative Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Perioperative Technician to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our Operating Room team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

• Aid in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, including cleaning and stocking supplies.
• Assist with patient transportation and positioning, ensuring the highest level of patient care and comfort.
• Provide technical support to surgical technologists, registered nurses, and anesthesia staff, ensuring the efficient execution of surgical procedures.
• Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed, prioritizing the needs of patients and staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to confidentiality standards and demonstrating sensitivity to patient dignity and comfort.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a surgical setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
