Job Summary:
Our Emergency Department Registered Nurses are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an ER RN, you will work with patients requiring urgent treatment due to life-threatening medical conditions, illnesses, or injuries, as well as those with less serious conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Quickly access and prioritize incoming patients
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and stabilize patients
- Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies
- Provide patient education and follow-up care instructions and make necessary referrals
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current state licensure required
- Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills required
- BLS and ALS certification required and maintained
- EPNC (or PALS) required and TNCC or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) required within one year of hire
