Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island.

About the Job:

This is a travel position, requiring 13 weeks of commitment with 36 hours per week, including 12 hour shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CT equipment, producing high-quality images for medical diagnoses.

Responsibilities:
  • Position patients correctly for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as needed.
  • Set controls on CT equipment, monitoring both the device and patient, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, IV starts, and contrast injections when required.
  • Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
  • Support radiologists during interventional CT procedures.
  • Evaluate CT scan quality, collate processed images in sequence, and label them appropriately.
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some administrative tasks.
  • Charge procedures and supplies used to patient records.
  • Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 18 months experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist.
  • Be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
  • Hold a valid license in most states.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
