Job Summary:

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as an Early Childhood Specialist. This full-time opportunity offers a 37-40 hour workweek and provides a chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in early childhood students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals to address students' communication needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and adapting interventions to meet individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and facilitate communication skills in various environments.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and accommodations.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for certification.
  • Valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of employment.
  • Previous experience working with early childhood populations is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of developmental milestones and typical speech-language development in young children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and adapt interventions to meet individual student needs.
