About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team at Wellpath. As a Dental Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental services to our patients in a correctional facility setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide dental care and treatment to referred patients in accordance with facility regulations and standards.
  • Perform routine cleaning, restorative dentistry, and extractions as needed.
  • Evaluate patients' dental care needs and make clinically appropriate recommendations.
  • Takes impressions for dental appliances and instructs patients in good dental hygiene techniques.
  • Maintains accurate and confidential patient records and provides in-service training for health staff members.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of dental medicine.
  • One year of experience in general dentistry preferred.
  • Must have and maintain current licensure as a dentist within the state of employment.
  • Must obtain and maintain CPR certification.
