Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art medical imaging department. As a Medical Imaging Professional, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex medical imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including ultrasound, echocardiogram, and other diagnostic imaging modalities.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Conduct imaging procedures, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
- Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
