Tax Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Tax Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising the monthly accounting and tax processes while providing exceptional personal service to our small business clients.

Your goal will be to maintain long-lasting working relationships with your clients and your team. You will interact with clients on a regular basis, ensuring our systems are running smoothly to provide accurate accounting information.

• Provide exceptional, personal service to a dedicated section of our small business clientele.
• Provide real insight to our clients into the financial strengths and weaknesses of their business to help their business thrive.
• Supervise and manage monthly accounting and tax processes.
• Lead client onboarding, monthly reconciliations, tax planning, and preparation efforts.
• Work with a variety of accounting software, including QuickBooks Online, to keep client accounts accurate and up-to-date.
• Engage in continuous professional development and help other team members develop their own skills.

Requirements:

• Passionate about small businesses and experienced in managing multiple client accounts.
• Upbeat and confident with a friendly personality.
• A CPA or EA, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a public accounting firm preferred, and at least 2 years of accounting supervisory experience.
• Tech-savvy with a strong proficiency in modern accounting software. QuickBooks Online certification is a plus.
• Tax return preparation (1040, 1065, 1120S) experience required.
