About the Role:
As a RN - ICU Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Document patient care given and monitor patient condition as appropriate.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
