Job Summary:
The Lead Environmental Services Aide is a key role within the Catholic Health Service, responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of our hospital facilities. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the cleaning activities of the Environmental Services team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to meet the needs of the hospital and its patients.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- Provide training and guidance to new staff members to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, supplies, and equipment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare facility, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:
This role requires working in a fast-paced hospital environment, with exposure to chemicals and potential allergens. The ability to work every other weekend is required.
Salary Range:
USD $24.00 - USD $28.00 per hour.
