Position Overview

The Chemical Dependency Technician plays a crucial role in supporting patients within the Chemical Dependency Residential program. This position involves essential tasks such as documentation, intake assessments, discharge processes, and various administrative duties.


Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with residents on a daily basis throughout their treatment journey.
  • Assist in collecting and managing patient data effectively.

Qualifications

All qualifications listed below represent the minimum requirements necessary to perform this role competently.


Certifications and Licenses
  • Minimum: Valid California Driver License with the ability to be insured for resident transportation.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) or AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).

Technical Requirements
  • Minimum: A minimum of 2 years of sobriety, if applicable.

Related Work Experience
  • Minimum: One (1) year of experience in chemical dependency.
